To provide quality instruction for post-secondary/adult Career Training Courses. Seeking content specialists interested in teaching courses in construction, manufacturing, transportation, and healthcare. AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: + Prepare syllabus and daily lesson plans and hands-on projects for the practical application of the curriculum. + Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress. + Provide individual and group instruction in the implementation of the curriculum. + Prepare pre/post-tests and performance evaluations for students at the completion of each unit. + Order student textbooks, supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for the implementation for the job training program. + Effective supervision of students. + Maintain and modify curriculum to remain current and up to date. + Maintain all safety standards as mandated by OSHA and the BOCES 2 organization. + Monitor employment tracking of students. + Consistent and effective program recruitment. Job Qualifications Experience: 2-5 years current experience working in industry taught; Strong knowledge of the content area; Teaching experience preferred but not necessarily required Other: Must be able to use computers for attendance, grade management, email, and other applications necessary to fulfill the requirement of the position.
