LOCATION: Career & Technical Education – Adult Education Program (Multiple Locations) BASIC FUNCTION: To instruct adults in general high school equivalency diploma preparation. Support overall program effectiveness following National and NYS Recording Systems, as defined by NYSED. RESPONSIBILITIES: + To instruct adults (18 years and older) in high school equivalency preparation within a classroom setting. + Implement consistent data collection procedures, check data accuracy, establish follow-up strategies, and follow assessment procedures. + Support student creation of short-term and long-term goals as required by NYSED. + Record student achievements over multiple years. Job Qualifications + Valid NYS teacher certification or be able to meet requirements for the Adult Education certificate.
