Weatherford, a leading provider in the Energy Oil and Gas Drilling Exploration industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advance Assembler to join our team in Abu Dhabi Manufacturing. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for assembling all products and equipment manufactured and assembled in the product line, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

 

Responsibilities:

Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies according to schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Position or align components and parts, either manually or with hoists, and use hand tools or machines for assembly. Conduct quality control checks and ensure work assignments are carried out to the highest quality level. Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools. Prepare work by studying parts lists and gathering necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Verify specifications by measuring completed components and resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions or notifying supervisors. Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and requesting repairs. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

 

Skills:

Functional English comprehension in reading, writing, and speaking. Basic computer skills. Advanced knowledge of product lines, mechanical drawings, and BOMs. Familiarity with manufacturing processes. Support effective assembly planning and kitting operations with respect to production schedules. Perform housekeeping duties as required within a production assembly workshop. Collaborate with third-party inspectors to ensure customer quality control plan witness requirements are adhered to. Provide continual improvement feedback to line management and engineering to ensure assembly and factory acceptance test operations are adequately resourced. 

 

Qualifications:

Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in Mechanical Assembly and manufacturing. Preferably with Completions Product Line Minimum Technical diploma or Industrial trade certificate.
