Responsibilities:
You will provide full-time dedicated support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Directorate for Acquisition Support (MDA/DAX), located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This is a hybrid which allows for both onsite and telework support.
Specific Skills Required:
Working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support the development of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans, processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fieldingExperience with developing Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals, Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement ListsAbility to interpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDS program integrationSupport the development of acquisition implementing/operating instructions, directives, plans and policiesExpertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, and development of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategy approval and executionPrepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategies within the MDS and OGA partnersPrepare MDS acquisition documentation and executive-level decision papersPrepare and staff Directorate of Acquisitions actions for functional and technical review and comment; perform internal and external Agency coordination and reportingDemonstrated capability to develop reports, information papers, decision papers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholder leadershipExperience in cost, schedule and performance management for a DoD programPossess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to support the evaluation of contract performance against the program baselinesExperience translating technical requirements into contract requirementsCapable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams to research, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWSDemonstrated ability to organize and execute meeting logistics and represent the Directorate at higher-level meetings as requiredAbility to track, coordinate, and manage information requests from both internal and external agenciesAbility to collaborate and both troubleshoot problems and support the needs of theAbility to draft and brief complex acquisition solutions, i.e. Other Transactions (OT) and hybrid acquisitions or equivalentOutstanding written and oral communication skillsQualifications:
BA/BS in related field with 10 years relevant experience; MA/MS, PMP or DAWIA Level III certification may substitute for 3 years of experience10 years directly supporting a Federal Acquisition or DoD program(s) as an acquisition/program analyst overseeing cost, schedule, and performance5 years in a DoD program management and integration environment providing strategic level analysis, communications, and staff coordination for executive level reviewAbility to prepare milestone decision packages or MDA equivalentAbility to prepare acquisition strategy for an Acquisition Strategy Panel and Acquisition Strategy Board or equivalentAbility to review, process, and formulate strategy productsAbility to draft and brief complex acquisition solutions, i.e. Other Transactions (OT) and hybrid acquisitions or equivalentAbility to draft Acquisition Executive program correspondence/status reports, i.e. memorandums, EXSUMs, white papers, and Ad Hoc reportsDesired Skills:
Experience in one or more program offices is highly desirableProficiency in MS Office suiteCurrent Secret Security Clearance Required#LI-AS1
