Advanced Analytics Consultant
**Role Purpose** Generate insights and support decision making across a broad spectrum of problems involving customer and loyalty. Lead impactful initiatives and mentor others through deep familiarization of data assets, analytical tools, and advanced analytics techniques. **Key Accountabilities** + Develop a strong business knowledge of IHG Rewards program + Provide ad hoc analytics support to internal clients (Loyalty & Partnerships) such as robust statistical analyses, predictive modeling, and simulations and scenario analyses + Design and publish dashboards catering to the needs of clients + Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to senior leaders + Act as main point of contact when manager is out **Key Skills & Experiences** Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related quantitative field with 5 or more years of progressive work experience in analytics; or master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science or a related field with 3 or more years of progressive work experience in analytics Knowledge and Skills + Proficiency in DBMS like Teradata and Google BigQuery + Expertise in data manipulation using SQL, Pandas, etc. + Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as K-NN, K-means, NLP, Naive Bayes, SVM, XGBoost, Random Forest etc. + Knowledgeable about statistical concepts such as parametric distributions, hypothesis testing, regression, etc. + Experience with common data science toolkits in R or Python + Experience working with major cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc.) + Proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau and ability to use such tools for quantitative analysis + Excellent analytical, problem solving, and collaborative skills + Strong written and verbal communication skills Don't quite meet every single requirement, but still believe you'd be a great fit for the job?
