Advanced Analytics Intern/Co-op – Summer 2025

As an Advanced Analytics Intern at Manulife, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic environment focused on leveraging data to drive business insights and decision-making. You will be part of our Advanced Analytics teams, working on projects that center around AI, Machine Learning, and extensive data analysis. Your role will be crucial in collaborating with business stakeholders to brainstorm and ideate innovative solutions, build machine learning applications, and analyze their results to extract actionable insights.

Please note that your application will be considered for multiple positions within this job posting. 

 

Position Responsibilities:  

Create and execute SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. 

Perform data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of risk.

Automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency. 

Create and publish Power BI dashboards to visualize data insights. 

Collaborate with business stakeholders for ideation and brainstorming sessions. 

Develop and maintain training materials and documentation. 

Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines. 

Understanding and experience working with PowerBI, PowerApps, SharePoint, SQL, and other Microsoft Office tools. 

Strong written communication skills, presentation skills. 

Python coding experience. Building GenAI solutions experience is a plus. 

Highly organized, superior time management skills. 

Curiosity, resourcefulness, and self-starter mentality.
