The cornerstone services for KH Miamisburg have been Bariatric surgeries and Orthopedic care. Demonstrated ability in effectively troubleshooting and repairing of a wide variety of biomedical equipment systems.Considerable knowledge of electrical safety and medical safety principles.Ability in the interpretation and applicable of hospital codes, standards, and regulations relating to biomed¬ical equipment in hospital environmentDemonstrable advanced skill in applying electric/electronic circuit theory and operating principles to effectively diagnose biomedical equipment malfunctions.Demonstrable knowledge and proficiency in the use of advanced electronic test and measurement instrumentation.Knowledge of the theories of operation, the underlying physio¬logic principles, and the practical, safe clinical application of biomedical equipment.Knowledge of basic computer theory and skill in effectively using computer systems and applications.Skill in the use of tools and materials involved in the repair and maintenance of biomedical equipment.Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures, methods, tools, materials, and instrumentation associated with advanced biomedical equipment areas.Good communication skills, both oral and written.Job Requirements:
Associate or Bachelors degree in biomedical electronics or related, or a combination of relevant training and experience.Certification by the International Certification Commission for Clinical Engineering and Biomedical Equipment Technicians (preferred).Minimum of two years work experience as a BMET, with manifest advanced skills and abilities for specific equipment areas.
