Role ResponsibilityAs an Advanced Detox Recovery Worker, you will:
Lead, manage, and support a team of Recovery Workers to deliver high-quality care.
In line with UK clinical guidelines and Turning Points policies- Develop and oversee psychosocial treatment interventions, including group and one-to-one support
Maintain a supportive and reflective team environment, ensuring staff morale and development.
Contribute to service improvement, policy review, and incident investigations using quality improvement methods.
Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Provide supervision, training, and professional development opportunities your team.
Participate in audits, case management reviews, safeguarding procedures, and compliance monitoring.
The Ideal CandidateTo succeed in this role, you will need:
Experience working in substance use and recovery services, ideally within an inpatient detox setting.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and organisational skills.
A values-led approach, with a commitment to compassionate and person-centred care.
The ability to motivate, support, and develop a team, fostering a culture of learning and improvement.
Effective partnership working with professionals across different sectors.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ/Degree in a related field).
The flexibility to work shifts, ensuring the highest standard of care.
