Reporting to the Director of System Operations, this position is responsible and accountable for the overall implementation of the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) Program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in program management, a deep understanding of ADMS technologies, utility control center operations, and a passion for leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects.

Responsibilities:

Program Leadership: Lead and manage the ADMS program to completion, ensuring all project goals and objectives are met within the specified timeframe and budget. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the ADMS program and Distribution Energy Resource Management System (DERMS), aligning with the company’s overall mission and vision. Stakeholder Management: Engage with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure successful program execution and alignment with business objectives. Team Coordination: Oversee project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and effective collaboration. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program continuity and success. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on program performance, using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Budget Management: Manage program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and funding, including external grants. Technical Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of ADMS technologies and stay abreast of industry trends and advancements.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field. Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.  Minimum 7 years of experience in program management, with a focus on managing large-scale, multifaceted enterprise-wide technology projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of effectively managing complex projects and delivering results. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a flexible and proactive approach to program management. Proficiency in ADMS technologies.
