Advanced Field Service Engineer- Building Automation System

As a Field Service Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for providing technical support and services to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, perform repairs and maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service and maintaining strong customer relationships.

You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our designated customer sites in the area. This role requires a combination of on-site and remote work, depending on customer needs.

In this role, you will impact the success of our customers by ensuring the reliable operation of their equipment and systems. You will also contribute to the growth of our business by identifying opportunities for service contract renewals and upselling additional services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nProvide on-site technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of advanced systems.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.\nConduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance of our products.\nDocument and report all service activities, including findings, recommendations, and solutions.\nTrain customers on the proper use and maintenance of our products.\nEnsure customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective solutions.\nIdentify opportunities for service contract renewals and upselling additional services.\nThe assigned region for this role includes remote locations in Alberta and Manitoba. Travel may be up to 80% to conduct upgrades. Frequency of travel subject to change based on customer and business needs. \nWilling to work on scheduled maintenance and projects outside of regular working hours as required.\n\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nCollege Diploma or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering or computer science\nMinimum of 2 years of experience in field service engineering or a related role\nStrong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills with industry standard communication protocols (IP, BACnet, Modbus, OPC, SNMP, API)\nA valid Full Class 5 driver's license is required due to the necessity of travel for scheduled site visits including remote sites in Alberta and Manitoba to conduct software upgrades.\n\n
