You will report directly to our Director Advanced Manufacturing Engineer and you’ll work onsite out of our Mississauga, ON location.

In this role, you will impact our manufacturing operations by optimizing production processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact our bottom line and help us maintain our position as a global technology leader.

Use your knowledge of New Production Introduction and Manufacturing Engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell Aerospace deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under general supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of aerospace products supporting new products from concept through the start of production, with an emphasis on process development, producibility, quality, yield, and schedule execution.

Key Responsibilities
\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new products are producible and meet yield and cost targets\nDetermine manufacturing processes, procure and set up equipment, develop work instructions\nUse DFx tools to analyze design and influence design improvements\nApply APQP & Lean tools and incorporate new manufacturing processes into the design, such as automation and alternate manufacturing techniques\nMentor and coach junior level engineers\nSupport production teams with identification/resolution of new product line issues\nPerform/Lead Root Cause Corrective Analysis and drive corrective actions to closure\n\n#LI-ONSITE
YOU MUST HAVE
\n\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Electrical, Computer Systems, Mechanical)\n5+ years’ experience in manufacturing engineering\n\n\n

\n\nMinimum 2 years’ experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry and/or Electronics manufacturing\nBasic knowledge of the field's standards and specifications\nExperience in the use of Lean tools\nDemonstrated ability to work cooperatively with cross-functional teams\nExperience with design and development processes\nAbility to focus on important information and identify key details\nStrong communication skills\nCapability of following guidelines and ensuring efficiency on tasks\nApplication of basic engineering techniques to optimize manufacturing processes\nIndividuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision\nWillingness to consistently take the initiative to get things done.\n\n\n
