Advanced Nuclear Quality Operations Leader (Remote Eligible, U.S.)
**Job Description Summary** The Advanced Nuclear quality operations leader will lead the quality involvement for Advanced Nuclear new opportunities and will be also responsible to coordinate the implementation of performance improvement programs that drive excellence in the execution of Advanced Nuclear projects. **Job Description** **Essential Responsibilities:** + Lead Quality involvement with Commercial Operations and Product development groups to provide guidance on quality standards and quality assurance program requirements for Advanced Nuclear new opportunities. + Lead the implementation of quality performance improvement programs across Advanced Nuclear projects. + Represent Advanced Nuclear organization for Corrective Action Program screening process, Corrective Action Review board + Represent Advanced Nuclear organization in GEH Operating experience/ lessons learned council. + Coordinate and assist with the execution of the quality surveillance activities across all Advanced Nuclear projects. + Support internal and external audits. + Review condition reports, audits, self-assessment reports and KPI information to identify trends and develop recommendations for performance improvement. + Use the corrective actions process to help ensure future error prevention. + Lead and participate in non-conformance assessments and root cause analyses. + Lead monitoring of industry performance improvement programs for best practice implementation. + Apply quality and technical knowledge, best practices, lessons learned, and practical experience to the analysis, investigation, and solution of complex problems **.** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university + Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality or nuclear related field **Eligibility Requirements:** + The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered **Desired Characteristics:** + Working knowledge of ASME NQA-1 and ISO-9001 + Working knowledge of ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code + Thorough knowledge of Quality Assurance Programs + Knowledge of GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy’s Quality Assurance and business processes, as well as customer and competitive environments + Strong team leadership experience + Demonstrated ability to maintain a customer focused team environment. + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. + Qualified as Root / Apparent Cause Analysis Leader + Demonstrated self-starter possessing strong initiative and teamwork skills. + Demonstrated desire to be involved in a rapidly changing and challenging work environment. + Strong oral and written communication skills, proven ability to develop team relationships The base pay range for this position is $107,600-155,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 2/14/2025. The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
