Job Details We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Vascular Surgery to join our respected healthcare team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced vascular surgeons, providing high-quality patient care in both clinical and surgical settings. Key Responsibilities Patient Evaluation & Management Conduct thorough patient assessments: history, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation. Develop and implement care plans for vascular patients. Collaborate with the vascular team to determine appropriate treatment paths. Surgical Assistance First-assist in endovascular and open vascular surgeries. Prep and position patients while maintaining sterile technique. Monitor patients and support the surgical team during procedures. Pre- and Post-Operative Care Manage pre-op education, consent, and coordination. Provide post-op monitoring, complication management, and patient education. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with nurses, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and other professionals. Communicate effectively with patients and families about conditions and care plans. Documentation Maintain accurate patient records, surgical notes, and treatment plans. Ensure all documentation meets regulatory and organizational standards. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current state PA licensure NCCPA certification required Strong understanding of vascular conditions, diagnostics, and treatments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Prior vascular surgery experience preferred (new grads with relevant clinical electives will be considered) Certifications & Requirements PA-C certification BLS/ACLS/AED (from AHA only) DEA registration required for discharge responsibilities Salary Range USD $69.54 - USD $93.81 /Hr.
