**40552BR** **Extended Job Title:** Advanced Practice Provider **Org Level 1:** Texas Tech Unv Hlth Sci Ctr El Paso **Position Description:** Employees in this position are responsible for augmenting a supervising physician's data gathering abilities to reach decisions and institute patient care plans. Provides health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of a Physician. **Requisition ID:** 40552BR **Travel Required:** Up to 25% **Major/Essential Functions:** + Provide clinical support to physician. + Assess, plan implement and evaluate clinical needs of patients. + Assist with consults and admissions. + Assist with rounds ( Writing notes, orders, wound care, etc.} + Write discharge orders and dictate discharge notes. + Provide in-patient and out-patient care. Provide wide variety of surgical procedures. + Collaborate and serve as liaison between providers, consultants and medical staff. + Participate in outreach and educational events. + Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes. + Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork).
