Job Description

Position Highlights:

Position: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Immediate Care, Medical GroupLocation: Cook & Lake CountiesFull Time/Part Time: Full-time, 40 hours per weekHours: Monday - Friday: 8am-8pm; Saturday - Sunday: 8am-5pmRequired Travel: Travel to multiple locations in Cook and Lake Counties will be required.Hourly Pay Range: $52 - $80. As a valued member of an integrated team, your placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors, including but not limited to FTE, prior experience, certifications, degrees, subspecialties, projected volumes, and quality performance.

We offer a comprehensive 12-week orientation program that consists of didactic teaching, SIM lab and hand-on training at various Immediate Care sites led by the Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine physicians.

What you will need:

License: Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) in the State of IL; Physician Assistant License (PA) in the state of IL required. Illinois Controlled Substance and Federal DEA licenses required.Education: Graduation from an accredited APN masters (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing (DNP) Program with a Family Nurse Practitioner program of study; or Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.Certification: BLS for Healthcare provider required; FNP certification required for APN’sExperience: Prior APN/PA experience preferred; procedural experience preferred

Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and diseasePromote wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communitiesWork autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultantsPositively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
