Overview JOB SPECIFICS: The team is looking preferably for an Experienced Critical Care APN or Fellowship Trained APN to support the Critical Care team at St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, IL! Join a strong team of 4 existing APN's and 3 MD's Will manage multiple critical care sub-specialties such as neuro critical care, trauma and cardiovascular patients St. Joseph Medical Center is the Regional ICU Hub receiving a large amount of patient transfers This role will allow for growth, learning and the ability to expand your skill-set to become a better provider This role is all inpatient This will be a nights role with a schedule of 3, 12's a week BENEFITS: Competitive Compensation Package Generous Vacation and Holiday Time Off Well-Being and Sick Leave Leave of Absence Benefit Paid Relocation Assistance Paid occurrence based malpractice, prorated CME, association membership dues Health, life, dental and vision insurance Retirement savings plan with employer match Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Current Certification as APRN or Physician’s Assistant • Current Licensure in the state of Illinois as an APRN or Physician’s Assistant • Current Basic Life Support certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Certification as an acute care nurse practitioner • Two years of critical care patient management experience Other skills/knowledge Work requires the interpersonal skills necessary to educate family and significant others on care as well as provide emotional support during crisis, deal effectively with physicians and residents, provide training and education to residents, medical students, and nurses.
