This role involves a combination of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities, providing advanced clinical care, patient education, and procedural support within the electrophysiology service. The NP will work collaboratively with electrophysiologists, cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities 1. Patient Evaluation & Management Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation for patients with arrhythmias, syncope, or other electrophysiologic disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with electrophysiologists. Evaluate patients pre- and post-procedure, ensuring proper management of anticoagulation, medications, and lifestyle modifications. Monitor patients with implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, ICDs, loop recorders) through in-clinic and remote monitoring. 2. Procedural Support & Coordination Assist in the preparation and coordination of electrophysiology procedures, such as cardiac ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, and lead extractions.
