Advanced Practice Provider - MetroHealth Spry Senior Strongsville

Spry Senior provides holistic, primary care, focused on preventative care, as well as management of chronic and complex medical conditions for patients 55 years and older. Our dedicated team of providers offer longer appointment times and see patients more often through in-person and tele-health visits. This keeps us connected to our patients and responsive to changes in their health, while keeping patients engaged in their care. We screen for and provide timely support and resources to eliminate any gaps in social drivers of health and provide on-site community programming that encourages a socially active and healthy lifestyle.
Required
MSN Graduate of an accredited advanced practice registered nurse program. Have current registered nurse licensure in the state of Ohio and Certificate of Authority as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the Ohio Board of Nursing. Certification as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in specialty. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or obtains within 90 days of hire. Obtains other advanced life support certifications applicable to practice area within 180 days of hire. Meets the requirements/qualifications for clinical privileges in the specialty/department with The MetroHealth System and must report to the Medical Staff Office at time of hire to apply for clinical privileges. Maintains a standard care arrangement and renews/signs it as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing. Note: Other department specific qualifications for providers will be addressed through the Certificate of Authority and credentialing process.
Preferred:
Have a Certificate to Prescribe from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
