Job Description

Role Overview:

Join our dedicated Thoracic Oncology Surgery team as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) and play a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive care to patients facing cancer. You'll provide expert medical and psychosocial support, implement and evaluate high standards of care, and contribute to groundbreaking research that advances evidence-based practices. As part of MSK’s team of over 900 NPs and PAs, you'll be joining a passionate group committed to compassionate, top-tier cancer care. Key Qualifications:

Graduate from an accredited PA programNCCPA certificationActive NYS license or be qualified for state licensureA minimum of 3 years of related experience is strongly preferredORCurrent New York State RN and NP license/registrationMaster’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privilegesA minimum of 3 years of related experience strongly preferredRelated National NP certificationCurrent RNFA

Strong decision-making abilities, with proven success in making timely, sound decisions.Effective in complex procedural environments, ensuring smooth operations.Skilled at gaining support and commitment from others by effectively engaging them in your priorities.Collaborative team player, working seamlessly with APPs, Nurses, and Physicians.Flexible and adaptable with scheduling to meet the needs of the service.Experienced in first and second assist roles in a wide variety of Thoracic Surgery cases, and providing clinical support in outpatient settings.

Additional Information:

Location: 1275 York Ave NY, NY

Hours: 10 hour shifts 4 days a week *No weekends and No holidays*

Pay Range: 144k-182k
