Short Description The Advanced Practice Nurse assumes responsibility for advanced nursing practice within a clinical specialty.

In consultation with other members of the health care team, strengthens nursing practice and promotes positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include clinical practice, staff and patient education, and research.

The Advanced Practice Nurse serves as a significant member of the multidisciplinary health care team in the inpatient, outpatient and community settings.
Experience Required

1 year of experience.

Education Requirements

Master’s Degree in Nursing NP or Physician Assistant degree is required.

License/Certification Requirements

New Jersey License: Advanced Practice Nurse and Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant

Certification: American Heart Association BLS 

Certification: NCCPA

Special Requirements

Schedule Days/Hours: Varies - Full Time
