Advanced Practice Provider- Urology Practice Wage transparency - $120,000 - $130,000 Beautiful location 40 minutes west of Albany & Saratoga Springs, NY. Offering a full time outpatient opportunity to join a growing independent community hospital in a rural Health Provider Shortage Area (HPSA). We are seeking a board certified/board eligible Advanced Practice Practitioner to join our busy outpatient Urology practice. This position is a full-time, hospital employed position. Monday through Friday with minimal call rotation. Responsibilities include: + Provide comprehensive urological care to patients. + Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. + Collaborate and consult with other medical and non-medical personnel. + Effectively monitor patients progress throughout treatment plan and care and provide continuous improvement on patient outcomes. + Educate patients on importance of treatment plans and communicate side effects and risk of medications prescribed. + Educate patients on disease prevention and urologic health. + Demonstrate effective and detailed documentation skills. + Conduct routine check-up appointments and maintain follow up throughout patients’ care. + Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication with patients. + Able to multitask and manage assigned projects and tasks as directed. + Participate in on-call rotation as required. + Experience with female urology preferred. • Required Credential(s): • Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant • Education: • Certified and Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), obtained prior to start date OR • Certified and Registered Physician Assistant (PA) by the New York State Education Department (NYSED), obtained prior to start date.
