+ DESCRIPTION OF POSITION + A licensed and credentialed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provides diagnosis, treatment, conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, order and schedule laboratory studies, professional consultations and provide direct patient care services and follow-up (depending on the state licensure) under the supervision of physicians. The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse provides age and specialty appropriate medical care at the level of training achieved. + QUALIFICATIONS + Professional/Educational + Completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse program. + Certification in nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center or Americal Academy of Advanced Practice Registered Nurses. + Current Illinois Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license. + Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) highly recommended. + DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required. + Personal + Works effectively with all levels of staffing, possessing tact, discretion, and diplomacy. + Demonstrates leadership and teaching ability. + Possesses the ability to work under pressure. + Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
