Purpose of the Job
The purpose of\nthis role is to lead small to medium size project teams (5-10 engineers) that implement\nstandard engineering solutions with customized (complex) specials, if required,\nto successful completion and within budgeted time and cost constraints.
The project team\nis defined as all applicable disciplines (Lead Engineer) or one discipline\n(Stream Lead) as part of a larger project.
To be technically\nresponsible for the overall technical design and technical scope of the systems\nand/or solutions in scope of the project, fully in line with Honeywell and client\n(SABIC/Aramco) standards for design rules and guidelines.
To support the\nimplementation of projects in line with P&AS objectives including\ncontinuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working\ncapital, and safety performance.
Principal\nResponsibilities
Acts as technical interface with customers, establishing professional relationships to ensure that the technical project requirements are fully defined, agreed and delivered within schedule and cost constraints.
Acts as technical interface to 3rd party suppliers to ensure correct functionality of the 3rd party deliverables including the correct integration of those deliverables in Honeywell systems or solutions.
Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work.
Produces and/or approves functional and detailed design specifications and provides technical leadership, support and expertise for the project team.
Ensures that the engineered solution meets project requirements, across all disciplines, in terms of functionality, Honeywell and client (SABIC/Aramco) standard designs & design rules, quality, and supports documentation and implementation process at minimum cost by optimizing use of global productivity tools and other Standard Builds deliverables, utilize Honeywell's tools to optimize engineering hours effectively and enhance overall productivity.
Monitors and controls technical project scope against the Project Execution Plan and Functional & Detailed Design Specifications, ensures effective change control, and identifies risks/opportunities.
Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements and shares technical knowledge back to Discipline Communities, the EEX organization, and the project team.
Reports progress and technical problems and/or changes to project manager.
Providing guidance to team members in the creation and development of deliverables.
Supporting team members in the finalization of BOMs, System Architectures, System Designs, and Network Designs Quality checks of the documentation prepared by team members.
Tracking and managing Internal Rework Hours, Input Logs, Deliverable Logs, Budget Usage and Forecasts, Technical Queries (TQ) Status, Lessons Learned, and additional key performance indicators
Promoting a culture of knowledge sharing among team members by utilizing tips, Self-Learning, Guidelines, Checklists, and organized Share & Learn activities.

Work Experience Required
10\nto 15 years of experience in engineering, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated\nto project management as a Senior Project Engineer.
Strong\nleadership skills and a proven track record in executing a range of engineering\nprojects are essential.
