As a Software Test Engineer here at Honeywell\nSmart Energy & Thermal Solutions (SETS) you will be responsible for\nensuring the quality and reliability of our products through rigorous testing\nand analysis. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and\nexecute test plans, identify and troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous\nimprovement in our testing processes.
You will be working on a team that develops, deploys, and maintain electronics manufacturing test systems. These test systems are responsible for testing the printed circuit board assemblies that go into Honeywell's Smart Metering products.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour expertise in SQL Server, C# language, and Visual Basic will be instrumental in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools.Develop and execute test\n plans and test cases to ensure product quality and\n functionality.Collaborate\n with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues and drive\n resolution.Develop\n and maintain automated test scripts and tools using SQL\n Server, C#, Phyton, and Visual Basic.Oversee\n testing activities at contract manufacturing sites, ensuring\n compliance with quality standards.Deploy and\n validate test equipment at the different contract manufacturers in USA,\n Mex or IndiaAnalyze\n test results and provide recommendations for product improvements.Drive\n continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.May include travel up\n to 10-25% to contract\n manufacturing sites to oversee testing activities and ensure\n compliance with quality standardYOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics5+ years of experience in\n advanced test or software development or a related field.Strong\n knowledge of SQL Server, C#, Python, and Visual Basic.WE VALUEBachelor's degree\n in Computer Science or similar.Experience\n in manufacturing, industrial automation or a related industry is of value. Experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts and tools.Knowledge\n of Flash JTAG testing methodologies is of value.
