Program Summary
KBR is looking for a motivated, energetic, and experienced Cybersecurity Professional with Assessment and Authorization (A&A) and hands on Cybersecurity Operational experience to join our team in Oklahoma City OK.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be joining a team to initiate and complete the complex cybersecurity requirements of multiple systems in the DoD environment. The selected candidate must show the capability to complete an assessment and authorization application package and be dedicated to the success of our customers. The selected candidate will maintain situation awareness and initiation actions to improve or restore cybersecurity posture as well as conducting annual security reviews of all cybersecurity controls and test of selected cybersecurity control. The selected candidate’s main area of work will be at Tinker AFB with some remote days possible and must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance.
Roles and Responsibilities
Technical security guidance in all phases of system accreditation requirements ensuring they are coordinated and communicated across the participant activitiesTechnical assistance in analyzing operations and systems architectural productsPerform verification and validation testing and provide guidance on mitigating risk to systemsPerforms risk and vulnerability analysis, cybersecurity vulnerability management and compliance and reportingResponsible for security assessments and reporting, cyber security control analysis mitigation and reports, and A&A compliance reportsBasic Qualifications
Associate’s Degree in a technical discipline and five (5) years of related work experienceIAM Level 1 CertificationExperience preparing Certification and Accreditation packages following the Risk Management Framework (RMF) processMust have at least one of the following Certifications: SEC+ CE, CAP, CND, GSLCKnowledge of standalone, closed-loop, platform IT, Platform IT with interconnection, and DoD/DISA networksExperience implementing Cybersecurity processes, provide guidance, and develop documentation throughout the system development life-cycle Knowledge of fundamentalsDemonstrate the ability to assess current security state, assess security controls and similar to support cybersecurity and ATO documentationDemonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with other system engineers, system administrators, software developers, and information assurance professionals operational users and diverse mission plannersAbility to obtain a SECRET clearanceUse of MS Office Suite; specifically, MS Excel, PowerPoint and WordPreferred Qualifications
USAF/Military/FAA aviation backgroundBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or in a related technical discipline and two (2) years of related work experienceCISSP or equivalentFamiliarization with NIST SP 800-53 Rev Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and OrganizationsExperience developing, implementing, and documenting formal security programs and policies throughout the program and monitors compliance to these policies and programsExperience collaborating with security managers (both corporate and local), other ISSE’s and ISSM’s to define, improve, implement and maintain information security policies, strategies, and proceduresExperience validating and verifying system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designsExperience with e Policy Orchestrator (ePO) Server Host Base Security System (HBSS), Microsoft Defender, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), eMass, or current similar CS toolsCISCO ASA 5512, CISCO Switches/RoutersAbility to obtain a TS/SCI clearanceAt KBR, we are passionate about our people, sustainability, and our Zero Harm culture.
