Visionary and passionate about Automotive Design. Academic degree/s and work experience in Automotive Design Studio. Strong 2D & 3D digital capabilities. Ability to think three-dimensionally, with a strong emphasis on proportions, sophistication, and a refined sense of graphics and form. Proficiency in applying and translating cultural insights to design characteristics. Strategic and creative thinking. Demonstrated creative proficiency with supporting portfolio – a portfolio is required. Strong communication skills in English & Chinese

 

Strategic Design, Design Communication and Program work leading design input into pre-program development and the areas of product concept, brand & product experiences, accessories & services. Future market accurately and provide strategy for exterior and interior design research hypotheses. Create robust and strategic design process to produce strong product concept definition appropriate to Ford Motor Co. brands. Development of China Brand Design Strategy and POV leading exploration and ideation into 3D models and initial platform development. Differentiate with customer-centric innovation for a connected, electrified, sustainable future. Product concept first methodology to lead future strategy and execution. Presentation of design reviews to regional and global senior management. Be a great partner with other company departments to ensure holistic exterior and interior design visions are achieved. Team-focused, highly organized with exemplary communication skills; written, visual and verbal. Proficiency in 3D modelling is highly desired – NURBS & POLY – to develop and refine design directions. An ability to work with key researchers to help translate customer findings into designable objectives. Research on design trends and interior technologies to curate and lead future directions.
