Advanced Systems Engineer

Cannonsburg, PA

Contract Position

$51.17-$56.17/Hour 

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

Lead requirements analysis, system architecture, and integration for ruggedized electronics systems.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to support complex defense programs.Drive system-level requirements from design through testing and validation.Develop and present technical strategies and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.Support failure investigation activities and contribute to problem resolution.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.Master’s degree preferred (with 3+ years of experience), or 5+ years of job-related experience required.

Clearance Requirements:

Active or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Experience & Technical Skills:

Proficiency in systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis, system modeling, and architecture development.Experience leading the systems development life cycle, from design to integration and testing.Strong understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools.Ability to translate system requirements into functional designs and testing parameters.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (preferred).Experience presenting technical strategies and negotiating solutions.
