The Production Operations Lead for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting the daily production needs which include scheduling through use of a visual management, training direct labor associates, troubleshooting issues, and managing/measuring the work of direct labor associates. Production targets are clearly set, and the Production Operations Lead will indirectly guide a team of associates to hit daily production goals, possibly adjusting plan hourly to remain on track.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Execute the daily production plan to due date conformance and quality standards. Maintain organization and training plan for the work area.
Train to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Follow engineering drawings, work order information, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process while maintaining FDA requirements.
Assure compliance with FDA Quality System Regulations (QSR), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO regulatory requirements.
Work directly and cooperatively with cross-functional team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure emphasis on quality.
Identify and recommend quality improvements including but not limited to production methods, equipment performance, product quality and efficiencies.
Learn and participate in the company's lean manufacturing principles
Solve problems independently in order to assist associates in completing tasks
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School degree with 7+ years’ experience.
Experience in a regulated industry preferred (e.g., FDA, ISO).
Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and the basic Windows operating system
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Problem Solving Skills
Participated in team projects
Familiarity with Lean Concepts
The hourly range for this role is $25 - $29. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
