The Advanced Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for inspect incoming material and complete inspection documentation properly. Determine material conformance to specifications and file material documentation. Establish and maintain incoming inspection plans and perform first article inspections. Investigates problems and recommends corrective action when appropriate and generate non-conformances for materials that do not meet quality requirements.
This position is part of the Incoming Quality Control located in Kendall, Florida and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.
You will be a part of the Miami Instrument Manufacturing Quality team and report to the Manager-Quality Control responsible for oversight of quality testing and inspection of materials used in the manufacture of Instruments medical devices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Inspect and Document: Inspect incoming materials, complete inspection documentation, and determine material conformance to specifications.Equipment and Calibration: Verify inspection equipment status prior to use and monitor on-site equipment and tools calibration.Inspection Plans and Improvement: Establish and maintain incoming inspection plans, perform first article inspections, and support continuous improvement activities at the site.
The essential requirements of the job include:
High School diploma and a minimum of 7 years work experience
Proficiency with software systems such as Oracle and/or SmartSolve as bonus
Previous experience working in a cGMP environment
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Must be able to work with limited supervision
Can quickly and clearly communicate issues to coworkers and manager
