Advanced Technology Manager – Surgical Sales, Ophthalmology / Cairo

As an Advanced Technology Manager you will be part of the sales team responsible for managing a designated territory, with a focus on promoting the company’s ophthalmology products to ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals within the assigned territory.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Specialize in refractive intraocular lenses (IOLs) and related diagnostic devices, focusing on increasing sales and market share of key products within the assigned sales region and target customers.Prepare, follow up, and close sales according to internal guidelines, ensuring achievement of revenue and market share targets as per the bonus plan.Conduct needs analyses and manage IOL and diagnostic device projects, collaborating closely with account managers and cross-functional teams including SAM, CAS, Technical Service, Medical, and Marketing.Coordinate with Market Access and actively participate in customer meetings, adapting segmentation and marketing materials as needed; plan visits and engage customers using tools like Pitcher.Maintain accurate sales activity and opportunity data in Salesforce including demos, device pipelines, and customer data; regularly analyze target customers and segment visit planning.Conduct product trainings and demonstrations, expand the customer base with new clients, and ensure compliance with demo agreements and data management protocols.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related fieldNative-level proficiency in Arabic and at least intermediate proficiency in EnglishStrong motivation to sell complex technical products; knowledge of optics is an advantageResults-driven and customer-focused, with effective communication and solution-oriented mindsetReliable and autonomous, with strong organizational skills and ability to manage time and meet deadlinesBased in or near CairoA valid driver’s license with proven driving experience
