Advanced Test Engineer

Contract Position
$47.62-$52.62/Hour

Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and procedures for new systems, products, and special devices.Set up, configure, and document hardware/software systems under test, including software loading onto multiple devices.Design and implement cost-effective testing and troubleshooting procedures for components, sub-assemblies, and full systems.Prepare and maintain test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures, and develop test specifications throughout the engineering lifecycle.Conduct formal system acceptance testing and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards.Analyze and document test results, investigate failures, and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to support complex programs and enhance testing efficiency.Qualifications:
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics.Master’s degree preferred (with 3+ years of experience), or 5+ years of job-related experience required.Clearance Requirements:
Active or ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.Experience & Technical Skills:
Proficiency in object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting languages.Experience designing and implementing test plans, test cases, and system traceability matrices.Strong ability to analyze test failures, troubleshoot hardware/software systems, and develop cost-effective solutions.Knowledge of formal system acceptance testing and failure investigation methodologies.Proven experience working with multi-disciplinary engineering teams on complex programs.Your Recruiter Still have questions?
