Roche Global Product Development is seeking a candidate to join the Advancing Inclusive Research (AIR) Site Alliance team as a Site Alliance Manager. You will support and foster success for an expanding consortium of clinical trial sites, as part of Roche and Genentech inclusive research efforts. As a Site Alliance Manager you will play a critical role in driving the Roche and Genentech commitment to inclusive research by building, maintaining, and strengthening relationships with key physician investigators, fostering effective collaborations and trust within the investigative site ecosystem, and aligning across Roche and Genentech therapeutic area-specific strategies to support institutions in inclusive research excellence. The role sits within the Health Equity Population Sciences area and collaborates closely with physician investigators and research site staff, Roche study teams, and senior Roche and Genentech clinical and operational leaders. You will work directly with AIR leadership and will collaborate across business units including Genentech and Pharma Early Research and Development, U.S. Medical Affairs, Genentech Chief Diversity Office, and the functions within the greater Roche Pharma organization. 

The Opportunity:

You will identify and align high-potential AIR sites, advocate site participation and investigator engagement, and assess readiness and interest for collaboration.

You will cultivate trusted partnerships, eliminate operational barriers, and drive sites to achieve strategic objectives through tailored support.

You will address challenges to inclusive patient access, escalate trends, and contribute to strategies that enhance participation of underrepresented populations in clinical trials.

You will facilitate regular engagements with AIR Site Alliance, discuss study progress, strategic initiatives, performance metrics, and address concerns promptly.

You will track and evaluate site performance with data specialists, emphasize patient representation, provide monthly reports to leadership to guide strategy.

You will conduct gap assessments from site visits, drive tailored improvements to maximize site capabilities and overall performance.

You will build patient trust and engagement through health equity symposiums, custom research materials, and collaboration with local stakeholders.

Who you are 

You will bring 8+ years in drug development, clinical operations, and inclusive research strategies; strongly preferred experience with underrepresented racial and ethnic minorities.

You will have a minimum Bachelor's degree in life sciences, healthcare, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

You will have proven ability to lead high-impact projects, collaborate across teams, and build novel partnerships in biotech/pharmaceutical companies.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering engaging presentations to senior audiences.

Demonstrated proficiency in advancing relationships with external stakeholders and leveraging existing healthcare relationships to support new opportunities.

You will have a track record of shaping strategies, anticipating challenges and opportunities, and problem-solving in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.

You must have  high emotional intelligence, cultural competence, effective project and stakeholder management, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Travel Requirements

Domestic Business travel required (approximately 25% of time) by air or car for onsite visits or meetings.

Relocation benefits not eligible for this position 

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of South San Francisco, CA is between $144,000 and $267,400.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.  A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.  This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
