JOB SUMMARY:
Facilitate and oversee all aspects of adventure recreation activities, ensuring camper engagement, safety, and fun.Operate and maintain adventure recreation facilities such as Go-Karts, Rock Wall, and Rope Course.Foster a positive experience by guiding and assisting guests through activities, adapting to their needs, and ensuring respectful behavior.Ensure a safe and clean environment by performing routine maintenance, inspections, and cleanliness duties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guide and assist campers through various adventure recreation activities, ensuring safety and providing accommodations and challenges to enhance their experience.Execute daily operations of Go-Karts, Rock Wall, Rope Course, and ensure cleanliness of the facility.Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and maintain detailed safety logs and operational sheets.Attend meetings to discuss status, inventory, safety, and assist with guest sign-ups and requests.Other duties as assigned.Personal Attributes:
Ability to remain calm under pressure, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.Exhibits initiative, responsibility, accountability, and strong attention to detail and safety.Comfortable interacting with youth ages 7-17 and developing strong relationships with diverse groups of people.Preferred Experience:
1+ years of experience working with kids/teens; camp environment experience preferred.Basic Requirements:
Pre-hire criminal history clearances required (PATCH, child abuse, FBI fingerprint screening).Reliable transportation and physical ability to bend, twist, push, pull, and lift 50 lbs.Must be comfortable working outdoors year-round, available weekends, holidays, and evenings during the summer camp season (June 1 - August 26).On-site attendance required; lodging and meals provided.You make us Woodward.
