A marketing communications project manager is responsible for developing and executing detailed marcom project plans based on strategic integrated marketing communications campaigns associated with growth projects or products. This involves management of marketing communications projects including creative and digital campaigns, content development, social media management, collateral development, trade show and event management, to generate qualified opportunities that lead to revenue growth.
Work in partnership with Textiles global marketing communications team members, regional marketing, regional business development, sales, and technical service team to develop a good understanding of the strategy, target markets and segments to implement effective marketing communications programs for AP region.
Develop, monitor, and manage projects and campaigns within approved budget. Has responsibility for project execution and works directly with cross-functional teams.
ResponsibilitiesProject Execution/Implementation
Collaborate with Marcom group leader to understand the IMC plan, goals and objectives Create long- and short-term project plans (based on IMC plans), including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources Assist in the definition of project scope and goals Articulate creative briefs/tasks to be completed by others, and work with those individuals (internal or external) to complete the tasks on time and budget Prioritize multiple projects and timelines Make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project Serve as a point of contact for teams when multiple resources are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy Communicate with Marcom group leader to keep the project aligned with business goals Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected Adjust schedules and targets on the project as needed; communicate changes with teamBrand Governance
Ensure proper use of Eastman Naia™ brand, trademarks, and logos in all communications channels Assist TMLA customers in the accurate use of Naia™ trademarks and marketing claimBudget Management
Manage project budgets to ensure that estimated and/or approved budgets are not exceeded, and that execution is as cost-efficient as possible Monitor budget and review budget status with team monthly QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years of marketing or communications B2B2C industry experience preferred.
