Job purpose

Reporting into the EMEA Head of Business Development you will support the sales team by generating sales leads through the execution of research and market analysis, outreach to qualify prospects as sales opportunities, and delivering new business sales opportunities to the Business Development Team.  Working closely with both sales and management you will provide administrative sales support, ensure accuracy of our CRM (Salesforce) sales data, and generate sales reports as required. 

Responsibilities

Review of basic market data and developments to identify new business sales opportunities & report on identified trendsIdentify and develop new business sales leads from multiple sources including inbound marketing leads, prospect lists, corporate defined initiatives, CRM databases, events, social media platforms, through independent desk discovery and researchHandover of qualified leads to the Business Development Managers and follow up to ensure that leads are moved forward through the sales funnel monthlyUpdate and maintain sales lead data in the CRM (Salesforce) system: create, update and report accurately Support Business Development outreach activities EMEA CRM (Salesforce) data controller: working closely with the Commercial teams to maintain sales data, ensuring accuracy of management reportingGenerate CRM (Salesforce) reports for Management, Corporate and EMEA Commercial teams as requiredAdministrative support for the EMEA business development team

What we are looking for

A minimum of 5 years experience in sales lead generation, customer facing within the logistics industryStrong MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) skills are mandatoryAbility to work independently and on multiple projects at any given timeMeticulous attention to detail, takes ownership, well organizedStrong interpersonal skills, a team playerHigh verbal and written communication skills in English
