About the Role

 

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Advisor, Commercial Knowledge Development to support the strategic training initiatives and documentation processes within our Commercial division. This role will focus on optimizing learning systems, maintaining compliance, and ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.

Your Role Will Consist Of:

Here’s a snapshot of your day-to-day responsibilities:

Develop and implement training materials, including guidelines, e-learning modules, and workshops, for Commercial teams.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content aligns with global standards and best practices.

Establish and maintain a learning management system (LMS) for onboarding and ongoing skill development.

Oversee document lifecycle management, ensuring quality, compliance, and accessibility of key corporate and site organizational documents.

Update training programs to reflect process changes, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements.

Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and gap analyses to capture critical business insights.

Work closely with business improvement teams and stakeholders to enhance documentation efficiency and process effectiveness.

Your Training, Skills, and Experience Checklist

What We’re Looking For

 Education: 

            Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.

Experience:

Strong background in knowledge management principles, SOP development, and document control systems.

Experience in mining, construction, oil & gas, or other asset-intensive industries is preferred.

Familiarity with SAP, SAP Ariba, and other commercial systems.

Strong understanding of supply chain, sales, and marketing business processes.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in MS Office, Visio, and document management software.

Ability to create, manage, and optimize learning management systems (LMS).

Strong process optimization and strategic planning skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex processes into clear, actionable materials.

Soft Skills:

Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement capabilities.

Ability to manage organizational change and navigate resistance effectively.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.

Working Conditions and Location

This position is based at the Denver Corporate Office, with flexibility in location.

Some travel may be required to support regional change management initiatives.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $88,000 - 115,500. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.  


This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
