Come join our Enterprise Information Security team in our Lehi or Jersey City office, where we have a flexible hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week in-office and 2-3 days per week remote.

You will be the designated support engineer and Advisor, Cyber Security Engineering operating our data protection and encryption technologies. You will be collaborating with business technology teams and cyber security teams across the enterprise.

 

At least 3 years of experience as a designated support engineer with a focus on encryption and securing technology for business applications and protecting data.Demonstrating a keen interest in cyber security, data protection and encryption.  Must possess at least a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree from an accredited university. One or more professional certifications related to Information Security is highly desirable.Be able to independently assess and prioritize resolution of outstanding tasks and requests.

The Enterprise Information Security Engineering team sits within the Verisk CISO organization and responsible for helping ensure every application is secure, and for increasing the assurance levels of security in the infrastructure underlying all our business products. Our team also focuses on increasing the capabilities of each application team to develop more secure products by design and by default, from patterns, tools and frameworks to increasing the skill level of embedded security leads. As Advisor, Cyber Security Engineering, you will help to ensure that our software and systems are designed and implemented to the highest security standards and protecting our data at rest and in-transit. You will operate and implement data protection controls, helping Verisk teams and partners to improve security, and perform as a designated support engineer for our data protection and encryption technology across our cloud environments. You will manage information protection solutions and provide Level 2 and 3rd line support as part of the service management framework.

Training will be provided together with an expectation of achieving professional certification in data protection and encryption technologies.

Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.

Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
