Your Impact
Administer and maintain enterprise and asset-level models, assess model integrity, optimize performance, assist with options modeling and reconciliation, confirm modeling accuracy with guides, support options analysis, and integrate Asset Strategy and Asset Analysis through modeling.
As part of our team, you will Ensure a strong grasp of asset-level and enterprise financial models. Comprehend the logical flow and execute minor to moderate performance and data enhancements.Evaluate the model's integrity, comprehend and discuss the streamlined aspects implemented to enhance model performance. Ensure the ability to trace back to the intricate calculations for transparency purposes.Identify, recommend, and implement model enhancements ranging from small to medium scale both from a financial and a modeling performance perspectiveAssist with model reconciliation to other sources of financial and technical dataAssess modeling approach and accuracy with guidesAssist with Enterprise and Asset-level Options AnalysisConnect between Asset Strategy and Asset Analysis through modelingPrerequisites for your success in this role Professional designation: Finance/Business–highly preferable; Engineering a bonusExperience in deep analytics, data interrogation and scenariosBroad understanding across operations, planning, capital projects, sustainability, finance and riskUnderstand interdependencies and risk/opportunity characterization related to portfolio development.Proficiency and broad experience in Evaluation Modeling architecture, development, optimization and utilization.Experience with large data set manipulation and management.Proficiency in completing broad tasks that impact many parts of the business and managing time constraints, competing priorities and tradeoffs.Aptitude modeling risk and uncertainty to complement financial and physical parameters.Broad understanding of project management, advancing projects ranging from new discoveries to feasibility and execution of multiple large -scale projects, including ability to shift focus and reprioritize.Your work environment The position is open to qualified candidates located near our corporate headquarters, regional offices, or any of our site locations.Collaboration and interaction are expected with teams across the global, regional, and site organization as well as across other service and operational areas of Newmont across multiple time zones.We understand no candidate will meet every single desired qualification. The salary range offered for this role is USD $89,760- 117, 810. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
