Job PurposeThe Faith & Development Knowledge Management and Capability Advisor designs and manages systems that help knowledge flow to and between the right people at the right time (in the right format and at the right cost). This will help World Vision staff act more efficiently and effectively to deliver quality integrated programming that impacts the most vulnerable children, furthers the goals of WV’s global strategy and the achievement of its mission.
This role will develop and implement an F&D KM and capability enhancement plan and system (including guidelines, processes, competencies, learning assets and learning pathways) to support WV teams to plan and implement comprehensive F&D competency and capability strengthening and understanding WV’s Christian faith in programme interventions.
This role will manage the F&D Community of Practice (CoP), provide expert advice to the sector CoPs and other learning networks regarding collecting and sharing lessons learned. This will lead to the identification and validation of promising practices for programme quality improvement, increase in staff capacity for field-level engagement, subject matter expert identification, and planning online learning opportunities for community members. In conjunction with the Global Knowledge Management colleagues, s/he will establish knowledge management systems and processes to ensure cross Partnership learning and development and support world-class implementation of holistic development programmes.
This role collaborates with the Global Centre (GC) F&D Sr. Communications Advisor to ensure evidence of WV’s Christian identity and impact is shared with key stakeholders, including Global Centre Communications and Marketing teams, as well as SO, RO, and FO communicators and marketers. This work will ultimately attract new donors and partners and build WV’s reputation as a global leader in Christian faith and child wellbeing.
Key Job Responsibilities(a) Knowledge Management Systems & Capacity Building
Develop and implement the GC F&D KM plan, in line with Our Promise and overall GC F&D work plans.Lead, establish, develop and maintain F&D knowledge sharing processes (i.e. knowledge access, capture, sharing, transfer, and retention) and information management system, using WVCentral and WVI.org.Build the capacity of representative staff from each GC F&D Sub-Team to make the necessary changes to their respective WVCentral and WVI.org pages.Establish, manage and promote the F&D Community of Practice (CoP).Provide support and advice to other sector CoP’s around Christian faith integration.Develop and implement systems that will promote a culture of collaboration and sharing among F&D stakeholders and programmatic subject matter experts.In collaboration with the GC F&D DME Advisor, Business & Special Projects Manager and with appropriate systems, support data analysis and reporting on metrics for Strategic Imperative 1: Live out our Christian faith and calling with boldness and humility,Ensure that M&E data and research are socialized internally and key findings are reviewed and validated for programme quality improvementServe as a member of the Global Knowledge Management-led KM working or advisory groups(b) Faith & Development Capabilities
Develop, and lead the F&D Capability Strengthening Plan, in line with Our Promise and overall GC F&D work plan.Lead the design, testing and roll-out of the F&D capability development system including competency frameworks, reference to policies, standards, guidelines and capability strengthening processes, In collaboration with key stakeholders (Regional F&D, P&C, learning and development, sectors)Ensure the effective management and continual improvement of systems and tools to regularly assess F&D capability, maintaining a portfolio view across the Partnership. Coordinate support across entities to address capability gapsEnsure the effective rollout of F&D competencies; integrating competencies into JDPDQs, P4P agreements and appraisals, in collaboration with Regional P&C and F&D leadsLead the development of defined Learning Pathways for F&D (i.e. onboarding, certification, on-going professional development and capacity building) in partnership with Regional F&D, P&C and competency leads.Plan, create, and lead collaborative efforts to design learning content using adult learning methodologies and ensuring alignment to sector competency frameworks in collaboration with Learning & Development and sector technical experts.(c) Knowledge Management for Communications

Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, job level, internal equity, and budget.
