ABOUT THE ROLE

Claims Finance is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join its team. In this role, you will help drive and execute the forecasting, planning and analytical support for the Claims Business Unit. You will work in close partnership with key stakeholders both within the Claims Business Unit and Corporate.

 

RESPONSIBILITES

Collaborate with Claims FP&A and BU teams and to help drive process efficiencies within Claims FinanceAssists in building forecast models using key drivers. Understands and interprets the numbers; prepares and provides analysis that will help the Claims Business Unit make data-driven decisionsAssists in the preparation of financial results and reporting packages, annual plan, quarterly forecasting, and ad hoc analysis for the overall Claims Business UnitActs as a data steward to help ensure accuracy across source data systems 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

7-10 years experience in a financial, analytical and operational roleExcel modeling skills acquired as a Financial Analyst, Senior Analyst or equivalent roleExcel experience including formulas (XLOOKUP, VLOOKUP, Index Match, etc), pivot tables, and data formattingExperience with Hyperion, Oracle, PowerBI, SQL, or other similar toolsAttention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in financial records and reportingPossesses a positive attitude, strong business partnering skills, and ability to work well independently as well as within a team environmentGood written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and able to manage time effectively in a deadline-driven, goal-oriented environmentProactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues, with a focus on improving financial processes
