The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent communication skills, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is essential in supporting our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department.

Recruiting: Support in house recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers to fill positions. Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientations, preparing onboarding materials, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Immigration: Handle immigration processes for employees, including visa applications, renewals, and compliance with immigration laws and regulations. Provide support and guidance to employees on immigration-related matters. Employee Recognition: Support employee recognition programs to acknowledge and reward tenure and outstanding performance and contributions. Organize recognition events and initiatives to boost employee morale. Employee Relations: Address employee inquiries and concerns, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures. Foster a positive work environment and promote effective communication between employees and management. Training: Support training initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge. Coordinate and conduct HR training. Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices. Communicate policy changes to employees and provide training as needed. Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR policies and procedures. Ensure consistent application and understanding of policies across the organization. Assist in resolving policy-related issues and questions Health & Safety Support: Promote and ensure a safe working environment by supporting health and safety initiatives. Maintain and update OSHA logs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Manage workers comp claims. Analytics Capability: Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret HR data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making processes. Special Projects: May be assigned special projects as needed to support the HR department and organizational goals. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role Strong knowledge of HR practices and state and federal laws and regulations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Powerpoint required). High level of attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus. Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (Oracle Fusion or Redwood a plus).

Work Environment:

This position typically operates in an office environment. Occasional travel may be required for training or meetings.
