What You'll Bring:

The Advisor of Insurance Decisioning Solutions fills a critical role in the product development life cycle, acting as a bridge between the product strategy and the delivery of a successful product or service.  A successful Advisor works within a defined product strategy and roadmap and be the subject matter expert for the technical aspects of the solutions under their purview.  This may also entail conducting research, data analysis, and overall problem/issue resolution. 

Strong analytic, written, and verbal skills, including the ability to communicate technical topics to non-technical audiences.Ability to triage real-time production issues and work with internal teams to bring to resolutionKnowledge of system architecturesAbility to interpret and convert business requests into functional requirements and testing plans for product developmentAbility to perform acceptance testing on completed development projects, solution enhancements, and product change requests.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience3-5 years experience in Java and/or large scale transaction oriented systems1-3 years experience creating Splunk Queries3-5 years experience with software requirement systems such as Jira3-5 years Scrum Master or Product Owner/Manager experience

Impact You'll Make:

The Advisor of Insurance Decisioning Solutions will work directly with Insurance product owners and internal team members throughout the product development lifecycle.  You will be responsible for ensuring product development requests are built, tested, and deployed correctly through collaboration and facilitating the bridge between product managers and application developers.  This role also assists in triaging production issues that may arise and helping to bring them to resolution independently or working with internal partners to ensure they are resolved in a timely manner. Lastly, this role will help support the existing customer success senior analyst with more complex customer solution set-ups when they arise.

Identify ways to improve solution processes or data qualityManage development of product enhancement in collaboration with internal business partnersSupporting customers’ developers during their integrations with TransUnion to insure a successful and rapid integration.Using tools like Excel and Splunk to observe, monitor, and triage production activities

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $100,100.00 - $150,000.00 annually. *The salary range for this position reflects a reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this job. At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual’s education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, location, and industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position and market considerations.

Regular, fulltime non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Certain positions may be also eligible for long-term incentives and other payments based on applicable company guidance and plan documents.
