Job DescriptionReporting to the Director of Internal Communications & Culture, you will help lead the internal communications function at AIM. In this role, you will further develop the company's corporate communications and culture strategy and be responsible for building and implementing key projects and initiatives tied to employment engagement and recognition.
Responsibilities
Help to further develop AIM’s corporate communications strategy through impactful internal communications and initiatives.Support the development, rollout and maintenance of new and existing People Programs such as the Tuition Scholarship Assistance Program (TSAP), Years of Service Program and the company’s recently launched Mission, Vision and Values.Assist with the roll-out and development of employee wellness initiatives.Lead the content strategy and continued development of the AIM Intranet.Support AIM and Kenny U-Pull’s internal communications strategy by developing and publishing key monthly communications (VP Quarterly Newsletter, Employee Highlights, Birthday Calendar etc.)Develop and roll-out a variety of communication materials, including memos, posters, newsletters, presentations etc. Work alongside Marketing to develop new templates where needed.Provide leadership support to various internal groups including management to improve the effectiveness of communication throughout the organization.Assist with employee events and manager meetings as required.Report on success by establishing clear KPIs for internal communications efforts, advising suggestions for improvement.Conduct employee feedback surveys on events and other initiatives.QualificationsRelevant university degree (communications, journalism, marketing or other related field).A minimum of five (5) years of experience, preferably in an internal communications corporate role.Bilingualism is essential in both French and English.Excellent written communication skills, both in form and substance.Creative, resourceful, autonomous, with a very strong sense of organization.Proficiency with Microsoft Sharepoint and basic Adobe or Canva platforms.Ability to adapt to tight and changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Additional InformationWhat we offer!
