Job Description AbbVie Sweden is looking for a Medical Advisor within Neuroscience / Parkinson´s Disease AbbVie is looking for a Medical Advisor who will take medical leadership and work with our Parkinson´s Disease portfolio in Neuroscience. The candidate will represent the Swedish affiliate’s medical/scientific voice of expertise for assigned products in the field of neuroscience. This is a Swedish position, office location: Stockholm. Tasks include, but are not limited to: · Establish and maintain professional relationships with experts and academic centers; attend scientific congresses, arrange advisory groups, discussion forums and symposia. · Deliver scientific presentations and medical education to healthcare professionals and internal AbbVie stakeholders. · Prepare scientific/medical information on request. · Review and approval of advertising material. Ensure that medical/scientific content is correct and in accordance with regulatory and internal guidelines. · Be a medical expert in the Swedish cross-functional in field team, and provide medical/scientific input to medical affairs strategies, marketing strategy and commercial initiatives. · Contribute to evidence generation by identifying evidence gaps and participating in initiating, supervising, and following up clinical trials and medical projects, e.g., Phase IV, observational, registry and epidemiological studies. Qualifications · University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy or equivalent Life Science. · Experience within the field of neuroscience will be considered as an advantage. · Keen interest in developing and maintaining expert scientific knowledge within the assigned therapeutic area/product and an ability to hold high level scientific discussions. · Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills including an ability to clearly and inspiringly communicate complex scientific concepts. · Fluency in written and oral Swedish and English is required. · High customer orientation. · Strong commitment to compliance with the relevant rules and procedures, and to scientific quality and integrity. · Collaborative, team-oriented approach, able to develop and support relationships across the organization as well as with key external stakeholders and the healthcare community at large. · Willingness to travel. · Sound judgment, strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to get things done. · Flexible and able to deal with ambiguity.
