The Advisor, Retail Banking (Business Architect) is primarily responsible for business processes design focused on digital transformation, innovation, and automation. Those processes will be focused on improving customer experience, product adoption, and driving growth. Position will be working hybrid based in San Juan, PR. Main Duties & Responsibilities + Understand complex processes and systems to re-define or re-engineer new features or products supported by new processes. + Work with agile teams to iterate and build; focus on defining EPICS and User Stories with acceptance criteria to maintain a healthy product backlog and defining priorities based on roadmap. + Lead recurring meetings and provide guidance, support, and expertise to the development and testing team when needed to ensure proper implementation and sustainability. + Ensure adequate and timely delivery of the product roadmap. + Acts as a liaison with IT, Operations and other support areas to ensure feasibility and proper implementation of new capabilities. + Work with Business Development, Marketing, Compliance and Risk for approval on features. + Conduct analysis to determine best path for solving business challenges, threats, limitations and opportunities for improvement using data analytics, as well as customer feedback and pain points. + Manage discussions in partnership with Solution Architects, Product Owner, Customer Experience, and adoption leads. + Evaluate project impacts and escalate issues and risks properly. + Other duties may be assigned. Minimum Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Industrial Engineering or related fields required. + Three (3) years of experience in Project Management, Technology Implementations and Agile Delivery required. Banking experience preferred. + The minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish with a demonstrated ability to write communications clearly, concisely, and effectively required. + Innovation and flexibility for meeting the demands of an ever-changing economic market required. + Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) required. + Analytical, proactive problem solving, organized, detail oriented and able to multitask observing the defined quality standards. + Project Management, Data Management skills and Digital Proficiency required.
