The Events Advisor plays a key role in the planning and execution of corporate events that enhance brand visibility, strengthen client relationships, and support business development. This role requires strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders across departments and external partners. This role will design and implement event strategies aligned with corporate goals, including client engagement, internal communications, and brand promotion. This position is also responsible for overseeing the negotiation of sponsorship contracts and ensures strategic value is derived from Chevron's participation in the events. This person provides counsel and on-site support to executive leadership and contributes to post-event evaluation of effectiveness and recommendations for future.  Key Responsibilities ** ** ** ** **Strategic Event Planning & Execution** + Leads the development and execution of high-impact sponsorships and events aligned with enterprise priorities. + Collaborates with internal stakeholders to define event objectives, target audiences, and success metrics. **Stakeholder Engagement** + Serves as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, and vendors to ensure seamless coordination. + Builds and maintain strong relationships with key partners, sponsors, and community organizations. **Budget & Resource Management** + Manages event budgets, ensuring cost-effective planning and execution. + Oversees vendor contracts, procurement processes, and financial reporting. **Brand Representation & Messaging** + Ensures consistent brand representation across all events and sponsorship activations. + Partners with communications teams to develop messaging and promotional materials. **Performance Measurement & Reporting** + Tracks and analyzes event performance against KPIs. + Prepares post-event reports and recommendations for continuous improvement. **Risk Management & Compliance** Identifies potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. + Ensures all events comply with company policies, safety standards, and legal requirements. **Innovation & Continuous Improvement** + Stays current with industry trends and bring innovative ideas to elevate event experiences. + Contributes to the development of best practices and process improvements. Qualifications and Skills + Bachelor’s degree marketing, communications, business or related field. + 10+ years of experience in project management, event coordination and marketing. + Proven ability coordinating and executing larger trade-type events. + Experience in building relationships, aligning resources and collaborating across teams to deliver excellent business results. + Experience collaborating across many levels of an organization. + Strong attention to detail and analytical/strategic thinking. + Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into creative onsite activations and experiences. + Familiarity with new technologies to deliver high quality, immersive experiences. + Strong writing, organizational and project management skills. + Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines, navigate ambiguity and concurrently manage multiple project timelines with exceptional results. Preferred Qualificiations + Agency Experience Special Considerations This position requires 40%+ business travel involving international locations for pre-planning site visits and onsite activations. **Relocation Options:** Relocation **will be** considered. **International Considerations:** Expatriate assignments **will not be** considered.
