What Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Accounting establishes and maintains accounting policies and controls, completes technical research, safeguards the organization's assets and ensures accuracy of accounting and financial records in accordance with accounting standards.
Qualifications
Qualification: CA / CA Inter/ Equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
Month End Close Process:
Perform month-end journal entries and accrualsReconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracyAssist in the preparation of month end financial reports (MIS pack).Statutory Audit:
Prepare financial statements and ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company law and other applicable laws.Evaluate internal controls, risk assessment, and financial reporting processesSPOC for statutory audit (Liaise with auditors and provide necessary documentation and explanations)Tax and Transfer Pricing Audit
Prepare tax audits as per the Income Tax Act (Section 44AB and other applicable provisions).Review financial records, income tax computations, and compliance with tax regulations.Ensure accuracy in tax filings, deductions, and disclosures in audit reports.Assist in preparation and filing of Form 3CD and other required tax audit documentation.Coordinate with tax authorities for assessments, clarifications, and litigation support.Keep track of changes in tax laws, GST regulations, and other direct/indirect tax matters.Preparation of Form 3CEB for annual transfer pricing audit.Tax Returns:
Preparation of Advance TaxMonthly / Quarterly TDS returnsPreparation of Annual Tax return.Skills & Competencies:
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing principles, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in audit tools and accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, Excel).
• Analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple audits
