About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Advisors Experience Specialist to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in onboarding and supporting new independent advisors, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to succeed. The role requires a deep understanding of investment products, such as mutual funds and segregated funds, combined with excellent presentation and communication skills.


What You’ll Do

Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience for new independent advisors, introducing them to HUB’s suite of products, tools, and technologies.

Provide training and support to ensure advisors are fully up-to-date on investment products, including mutual funds, segregated funds, and other financial products.

Conduct engaging presentations and webinars to educate advisors on available software, tools, and technology systems.

Act as a liaison between the advisor and various HUB departments to ensure smooth integration and ongoing support.

Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to provide relevant and timely updates to advisors.

Develop strong, positive relationships with advisors, addressing their needs and supporting their success.

Regularly evaluate advisor feedback to enhance the onboarding process and improve overall advisor satisfaction.

Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials and guides to support advisor onboarding and ongoing education, ensuring advisors stay informed about industry changes, regulations, and procedures.

Participate in both large and small projects as assigned, with a focus on the investment industry and initiatives aimed at enhancing the advisor experience.

Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need for Success

Minimum 2-3 years in a related role, preferably within the financial services industry.

Experience with mutual funds and/or segregated funds is essential.

Familiarity with different account types such as Non-Registered Accounts (Cash, Margin, Joint etc.) as well as Registered Accounts (RRSPs, TFSAs, RESPs etc.) is an asset.

Strong presentation and training skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead webinars or in-person sessions.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency with financial software and CRM systems; comfort with technology and digital tools.

Proficient in MS 365: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, Adobe

Experience with video platforms such as MS Team or Zoom

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant industry certifications are a plus (e.g., IFIC, CSC)
