Your impact

Enhance safety and sustainability by leveraging data to identify risks and opportunities, drive technical solutions, improve performance, develop digital innovations, and ensure informed decision-making. 

As part of our team, you will Follow S&S Business Processes & Compliance Standards – Adhere to and enforce established S&S disciplines governance procedures, ensuring all safety and sustainability data aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements.  Complete Record Closures & Follow-Ups – Actively track and follow up on outstanding S&S systems records, ensuring timely completion and closure of safety-related tasks, incident reports, and compliance actions.  Deliver S&S Systems Training & User Support – Provide structured training sessions to site administrators and business unit personnel on how to effectively use S&S systems, including data entry, extraction, and reporting.  Complete S&S Site Admin Coverage – Provide temporary administrative support at sites when regular S&S site administrators are unavailable.    Implement System Updates & Testing – Assist with system testing, troubleshooting, and rolling out new S&S systems functionalities or updates. Support business units in understanding and adapting to system changes.   Deliver Regular Reports & Support Decision-Making – Compile and submit routine safety and sustainability reports to business units and enterprise stakeholders to support informed decision-making at all levels of the organizationEnvision and solve safety and sustainability performance challenges by analyzing data, identifying trends, and developing proactive solutions to enhance operational efficiency and drive continuous improvement. Recommend Functional System Changes for Optimization – Analyze current systems, identify opportunities for functional improvements, and recommend changes to enhance compliance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency. Effectively communicate safety and sustainability performance insights by delivering clear, data-driven narratives that inform decision-making, drive accountability, and support continuous improvement.Prerequisites for your success in this role Professional degree, preferably in sustainability, engineering, business, geoscience, finance, information technology or other related field. Working knowledge of applied data management and reporting concepts, methodologies and tools; and applicable software products. Awareness of safety and sustainability (environment, social responsibility, health and safety) areas of management and associated risk and opportunity management, in the resources industry preferredPrimary skills include data monitoring and delivery of data as information to the business. For this Advisor role, the applicant must demonstrate understanding of these areas.  Proficiency required in the application systems, processes and activities of the S&S Performance Support Center. The role also necessitates ability to educate and support operational teams, including the ability to carry out specific activities using appropriate tools and processes to achieve defined business outcomes.  Your work environment The position is open to qualified candidates located near our corporate headquarters, regional offices, or any of our site locations.Collaboration and interaction are expected with teams across the global, regional, and site organization as well as across other service and operational areas of Newmont across multiple time zones.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $88,000- 115,000. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.  The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.  


This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
