We are looking for an individual who can support the future growth and expansion of the ISG Development and Quality infrastructure network. The Advisory IT Engineer will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, securing, and updating infrastructure used to support teams worldwide. Candidates for this position are experienced working with Cisco networking equipment and are well-versed in Linux, VMware, and Windows-based cloud computing solutions. Preference will be given to candidates with experience at the enterprise networking level.

In this role, you will be asked to perform activities such as:

Providing network administration and supportEnsure network security and connectivityInstall and integrate new network hardware and applicationsMonitor network performance (availability, latency, throughput, and utilization)Evaluate and recommend security improvements and system upgradesDevelop and monitor policies for the use of network resources

The ISG Development and Quality Infrastructure Network spans many areas of the business including development, product assurance, product engineering, service, and manufacturing worldwide.

Experience:

Education: BS level education in Networking related field or equivalent level of field / work experience with network administration.Required: Fundamental knowledge of networking conceptsRequired: Experience with networking monitoring tools (eg: Cisco Prime, Nagios, Wireshark)Required: Knowledge of advanced switch troubleshooting and problem resolutionAbility to work independently under minimal supervisionAbility to work with cross functional teams and stakeholders Additional Locations:  * Mexico - Nuevo León - Monterrey * Mexico - Nuevo León - Monterrey * Mexico * Mexico - Nuevo León * Mexico - Nuevo León - Monterrey , * Mexico - Nuevo León - Monterrey
